Regional Chapters

Being a fast growing community, DevCon already has local chapters in Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro (CDO), and Iloilo. Each chapter has its own set of events and a steering committee. Here are the current chapter heads:

Paul John Parreño, DevCon Bai! (Cebu) Chapter Head

PJ Paul is a Mobile Applications Developer at Arcanys Inc, Mobile Technology Enthusiast, University Instructor at University of San Carlos, and a Gaming Enthusiast. He also particularly interested in open source technology that drives mobile applications development, open-source game development and promoting the technological growth in the Philippines. Cris John Tagupa, DevCon Cagayan de Oro Chapter Head

Cris Cris is a Web Developer at Force12 Media, Inc. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, graduating Magna cum Laude from Liceo de Cagayan University. He considers himself as very lucky to be able to work on something that he loves so much. Code is Poetry.

Jaymar Somosot, DevCon Davao Chapter Head

Jay Jay is an autodidact who was introduced to DevCon in 2011 and has been a passionate volunteer since. His interest is on Open Source technology, DevOps, Cloud Computing and other SysAdmin related stuffs. He is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree while doing freelance jobs for local and international companies.

Jingo Rodriguez, DevCon Iloilo Chapter Head

Jingo Jingo is currently a web developer at Voiceless Technologies, a nocturnal coder and loves to code a lot, also has worked with mobile and game development companies. He is interested with open source and cloud computing technologies.
