Modules are subject to the instructor's availability or the program's priority per cohort. Each intern can select the top 2 focus areas, but is encouraged to contribute or collaborate with other interns on projects. Once accepted, the program will assign a track focus to the intern based on the intern's assessed skills, team dynamics, priorities, and the cohort's requirements.
The program blends online, self-paced learning with in-person sessions. You'll attend 1-2 in-person sessions per week at the DEVCON office in Ortigas, Pasig. You'll also participate in occasional on-site and chapter events.
No, the DEVCON Jumpstart Internship Program is unpaid. However, we provide transportation and communication allowances.

In-person meetings are held at the DEVCON HQ's office in Orient Square, Ortigas, Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. Schedule will be agreed by the Cohort if Tuesdays or Thursday. Interns are invited and encouraged to attend exclusive tech events every week as part of their industry immersion. Check the Ortigas location here.
Due to limited slots, the selection process is competitive. We evaluate applications based on qualifications and experience, and referrals from DEVCON Chapter Leaders. Shortlisted candidates will receive an invitation for an office visit and will be notified within 1-2 weeks whether they are accepted. Applicants who didn't receive a notification or were not shortlisted are encouraged to reapply for future cohorts. The goal is to provide IT students with hands-on experience in the tech industry, aligned with DEVCON's values. We aim to offer a generalist view of the industry needs and help interns build a strong portfolio.
