About Us
DEVCON is the Philippines’ largest volunteer tech community and non-profit org for developers, IT Enthusiasts, and future geeks. We exist to promote collaborative growth and global competence of Filipino developers in the academe and IT industry by providing a unique venue for everyone to Sync, Support, and Succeed.
- We are known for hosting unconferences for IT students, professionals and educators since 2009 with eleven (11) local chapters that serve us regional community hubs across the country.
- We’ve organized hackathons and innovation challenges in partnership with different organizations, enterprises and government agencies;
- Since 2013, we’ve been hosting the most sought-after developer conference in the country – DEVCON Summit, a tech summit with highly curated sessions, featuring some of the best speakers and companies in areas from open source to web3, software development and data science to AI, the future of work, and more.

No more long travels! We're bringing the best tech topics and experiences directly to students through our Regional Campus DEVCON Summits. Get a head start in tech with cutting-edge technologies and connect with industry leaders. Our last Campus Summit in CALABARZON gathered chapter leaders from our Luzon chapters in Manila, Pampanga, Laguna, and Legazpi. And with our Ambassador Program Cohort 2, we're now reaching the farthest communities across the nation, empowering students to lead the tech revolution right where they are.

DEVCON Visayas
DEVCON Visayas is bridging the tech islands and cultivating a powerhouse of young talent. We're a force for good, connecting tech professionals from the game development event in Iloilo to the cybersecurity showcase in Cebu. We're also expanding, with a new chapter in Bohol and a visit to Tacloban planned soon. We proudly partner with TechForAll and DepDev Regional Offices, and support key events like Geeks on a Beach and the International Quantum Conference.
