ABOUT DEVCON PHILIPPINES
DevConnect Philippines Inc. (DEVCON PHILIPPINES) is a registered non-profit organization and the largest community of IT students, professional developers, and tech enthusiasts in the Philippines, currently operating with 11 active chapters nationwide. DEVCON empowers tech professionals, developers, and future geeks through nationwide chapters and programs, fostering a collaborative space for knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and the development of impactful technology-driven initiatives. Dedicated to promoting Filipino developers on a global scale across academia, government, and the IT industry, DEVCON equips the next generation of Filipino tech talent with knowledge, expertise, open-source technologies, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects and programs.
Our Story
DEVCON started out as a pioneering project of the Philippine Software Industry Association (PSIA) with its pilot event DEVCON Visayas, which was held at the TechBar in Cebu City. The project eventually spanned a ten-city nationwide tour as part of the Next Wave Cities roadshow which was ran by the then Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) and Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P) in 2009.
To improve its reach, the project eventually partnered with the Philippine Society of IT Educators (PSITE) to make the DevCon events accessible to IT students nationwide. Eventually, DEVCON registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission becoming the non-profit organization we have come to know today.

Our achievements through out the years:
Known for hosting free conferences for IT students, educators, professionals and enthusiasts, DEVCON has grown to having over 60,000 participants since June 2009. It is highly sought after by innovative government champions, educational institutions through its Campus DEVCON programs that aim to augment the academic learning of students with up-to-date trends in the IT industry.
