Precious leads DEVCON Manila, the network’s largest community with 5.4k+ members and the 2025 Academe and Industry Linkage Champion. The chapter’s year ran from the Game On! Game Jam to Hour of AI in five Manila public schools. Precious puts people first, growing volunteers ahead of checking off tasks.

Manila kicked off 2025 with the Game On! Game Jam, then brought hands-on smart contract code camps to universities through Grassroots Blockchain in Education (DEVCON Γ— ICP).

Elevate and Empowher: She is DEVCON Γ— UXPH inspired hundreds of women toward leadership in development and design. The chapter spotlighted iThink Hackathon finalists at Philippine Blockchain Week, and took its mission global at WOCEE. Its first Hour of AI in the District of Manila reached 600 learners in 5 public schools.

We grow chapters, not pins on a map

A DEVCON chapter is more than a location. It needs active officers, regular local programs, and shared standards. Becoming an active chapter follows a stringent process that tests commitment, readiness, and long-term alignment with DEVCON as a non-profit, beyond seed funds and tech hype. As a volunteer-run community, how many chapters we can open is limited by our volunteer leaders’ capacity, partner resources, and strategic national priorities.
